This book contains practice sections as well as two full-length tests for each of the three SCAT levels: students in 2nd or 3rd grade take the Elementary SCAT, students in 4th or 5th grade take the Intermediate SCAT, while students in 6th grade and above take the Advanced SCAT. It contains two sections: Verbal and Quantitative. The Verbal section’s questions focus on verbal comprehension and reasoning. The Quantitative section’s questions focus on mathematical understanding and reasoning. These tests are well above grade level, so I recommend starting in the Elementary section for most students.
